Required Metering & Sensor Points
Taken from the initial draft HNTAS technical specification the following metering and sensor points are required.
Key Points
- Each heat source will need to be monitored separately.
- Where possible avoid BMS connections
- All heat emiters should be monitored or your KPIs will fail on heat loss etc. e.g., landlord, communal and commercial often get missed.
- Electrical consumption of circulation pumps are often missed on current designs.
- Extra thought should be done on how the pressure sensors will be monitored and get onto the AMR solution. E.g., Kamstrup analog input module could be utilised.
- Virtual meters are no longer allowed. E.g., using subtraction method to find the heat generation of the last heat source.
